In
the course of a 40-year career as a public relations
executive and consultant, John Krizek wrote and produced
a number of educational and promotional films, news
clips, videos, and multi-media presentations on behalf
of corporations, non-profit organizations, and associations.
As a history buff he edited the Oregon-California Trails
Association slide presentation which was the genesis
of this video project.

Miles
Saunders is an award-winning television writer and producer,
who's successes include two EMMY awards for Only in
California, a nationally-syndicated news feature segment.
He wrote and co-produced Seeing the Elephant: Sacramento
and the Gold Rush for KCRA-TV, and Art of the
Gold Rush in collaboration with KVIE-TV.

Tyler Producer/Cinematographer/Director
Kit
Tyler is producer, director, and cinematographer of
seven feature-length documentaries including KVIE's
Art of the Gold Rush, and To Conquer the Inland
Sea, a history of catastrophic flooding in California's
central valley. In a career spanning 20 years, he has
won three EMMY awards, including one for the 1990 documentary,
West Coast Lighthouses. He has won several other
awards for photographic excellence.

Nevada, Jim Rose is the Nevada County author and
historian who's research and writing initially brought
the story of the Stephens-Townsend-Murphy party to light,
and who led the campaign to name Elisha Stephens peak
overlooking Donner Pass.
